Also, this is the first time I've used my YouTube account in 7 years and apparently one of my old videos has 40k views, so merry Christmas to me I guess.
I've fixed all sorts of weird things in the shop. Today's item was a vintage cabinet door pull. Used a trumpet valve stem and lyre screw to make it whole.
Here's a pro tip: If your slides have dust clouds coming off of them, it's time to bring it in for a professional cleaning.
Keep your instrument properly lubricated, it will change the way your horn plays.
