Woodwind repair

As a woodwind repair tech, Sean's primary focus is ensuring your instrument seals, plays in tune and has great action.  From a simple pad replacement to a full overhaul, he has the skills and tools to make sure the job is done right.  Here at Sean Mason Music LLC we do not just stop with a leak light; all clarinets and flutes are tested for proper pad work on a magnahelic gauge and play tested before they go out the door.  Saxophones and larger woodwinds are leak lighted in a dark room, pads are tested with a feeler gauge and all instruments are extensively play tested.   Crack repair on wood body instruments is mostly done in house, although for extensive damage or oil treatments will be sent out.  All saxophone dent work is done in house.  Key brazing, refitting and tenon work is all done in house.  Custom key work projects are welcomed.  Whether you have a Bundy clarinet or a Buffet R-13, an Artley student flute or a Powell, a YAS-23 or a YAS-82, Sean Mason Music LLC is your one stop repair shop for all your woodwind repair needs.
